A New Puzzle Challenges Math Skills

Ken Ken, is a new numerical logic puzzle from Japan. The name means loosely "cleverness squared". This game shares some properties with Sudoku. The game is based on logic challenge in which numbers are filled in the squares of a grid. Follow the rules of the game, you may find it interested.

What's the Matter? WebQuest

This WebQuest is suitable for a 2nd or 3rd Grade Class. Students will recognize the different types of Matter. They will conclude that matter can change over time under different conditions.The students have to figure out why their Skating Rink has no ice. It was frozen, then the next day it was a pool of water. Ultimately, the water disappeared. Students are asked to use WebQuest and find out ,"What's the Matter" with the Skating Rink.

WebQuest

The topic concerning the Properties of Matter was looked on WebQuest. the lesson stated that like ice, water and air, human beings are made of matter. All living and non living things are made of matter. Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. Away of identifying the properties or characteristics of matter is by usingones senses. Students were provided with different resources to take a journey in the world of "Matter".

Web Quest

The topic of my group is "Properties of Matter".Therefore, I looked at a Web Quest that talked about The State of Matter. The lesson began with a story, a team was to have a Hockey Championship and the skate rink has turned to water , There is only a few for the competition and the team members are worried. They team's coach asked the members to go out and investigate what happened to the ice. Subsequently, the navigation to the different links will solve the problem and the team will in addition find out about the differen states of water.
